Connecting Educators, Amplifying Voices,

Fostering Equitable Education

EDHaven connects and empowers educators, amplifies voices within the education sector, and drives meaningful change. We believe that education is the cornerstone of democracy, economic growth, and public health. A truly effective American education system is accessible, equitable, and grounded in the insights and experiences of those who work within it.

Founded by Melissa Wilk, D.Ed. | M.A.T., EDHaven was created out of a need for a platform that bridges the gap between policy and practice, particularly during times of political and educational uncertainty. Our mission is to strengthen the education system in Oregon and beyond by equipping educators with the resources, advocacy, and community support they need to thrive. Through collaboration and the sharing of knowledge, we are working to build a restorative education system that prioritizes the well-being of educators.
